Teen murdered as dozens watch and film his death (ASL – 9.19.19)

A teen’s murder was streamed and recorded by dozens of people watching and did nothing to help.

Earlier this week 16-year-old Khaseen Morris was stabbed to death after a fight broke out.

The fight occurred outside of a strip mall Nassau County, New York.

Police say dozens of people took their cell phones to record the fight and put it on social media.

Morris was taken to a hospital where he later died.

Investigators say the fight Morris was involved in was over a girl.

Homicide detectives are now urging and warning witnesses to come forward.

Officials say police presence has now been beefed up around the area where the fight took place.

Nassau County put out a statement saying “If you see someone is in serious danger, please use your phone to get help – not like the shares.”

At least one person has been arrested and charged with Morris’ death.

The suspect is expected to be arraigned Thursday.
