Demonstrators say protests worth the risk of coronavirus

While many protesters are choosing to wear a mask, others are not.

But many protesters say the global and peaceful march for justice and equality is worth the risk of contracting coronavirus.

Some demonstrators say after weeks of feeling helpless under coronavirus stay-at-home orders, the protests have given them a sense of empowerment and purpose.

And the demonstrations appear to be affecting immediate policy changes in police departments around the country.
