Woman bites off part of man’s tongue

San Benito County California officials announced two new cases on Sunday evening.

They say the patients are married.

The husband just got back from Wuhan, China and the wife was infected in the US.

That makes this the second person-to-person case in the US.

A man in Michigan is recovering after a woman reportedly bit off part of his tongue.

Police said it happened while they were kissing in his Detroit apartment.

That much was consensual.

The prosecutors say Youlette Wedgeworth asked the man not to put his tongue in her mouth.

When he did anyway, Wedgeworth allegedly bit off about an inch of the man’s tongue.

When police arrived they found the man bleeding from his mouth.

They were able to recover the part of the tongue she bit off and got it to medical professionals.

Wedgeworth faces a charge for aggravated assault and is due back in court later this month.
