Transcript
During a hearing on Wednesday an unarmed witness testified that he believes he saw missing 19-year-old Aniah Blanchard being taken against her own will.
But he didn’t come forward sooner because his wife told him to “stay out of it.”
The witness testified he was present at an Auburn convenience store Blanchard was last seen in on October 23.
Two days later Blanchard’s SUV was found damaged in Montgomery.
Ibraheem Yazeed is the man accused of kidnapping Blanchard.
On Wednesday Yazeed was ordered by a judge to submit a DNA sample after prosecutors presented evidence of a man being inside Blanchard’s vehicle.
DNA evidence in the form of blood was found inside Blanchard’s SUV and police say they believe she was harmed during the crime.
Officials confirmed the blood was Blanchard’s.
Blanchard is the stepdaughter of ultimate fighting championship heavyweight Walt Harris.
The reward for helping to find Blanchard and any perpetrators involved in the case stands at more than $100,000.
