Thirty-five-year-old Kimesha Williams, the sister of Los Angeles clippers star Kawhi Leonard, is one of two women charged in connection with the assault that left an eighty-four-year-old woman dead.
In August 31, authorities at the Pechanga Resort Casino found the woman unconscious in the bathroom.
Investigators determined she may have been the victim of an assault.
She was transferred to a nearby hospital but she died from injuries a few days later.
Investigators say surveillance footage quickly connected Williams and thirty-nine-year-old Candace Townsel to the incident.
Both women were arrested and charged with robbery and murder due to their involvement with the woman’s death.
They are scheduled to appear in court September 19.
