The coronavirus pandemic is giving President Trump a boost in approval ratings.
And interestingly the jump is coming from demographic groups least likely to be registered voters.
A new ABC News-Washington Post poll finds that Trump’s approval rating among all adults is 48%.
Trump scores a very similar 49% approval rating with registered voters.
And all the groups that Trump rose the most with, a number of these groups are also the ones least likely to be paying close attention to news about the pandemic, including statistically younger and less educated Americans.
Nonvoters are less likely to be ideological as well.
Which also may mean they are the most open to changing their minds about the President, which seems to be what is occurring right now.
