Experts warn of busy hurricane season

The year 2020 is going to be thrown another curveball.

The research team at Colorado State University is forecasting 20 named storms for this year’s Atlantic hurricane season.

This is the earliest the University has made a prediction this high.

The only other time CSU researchers predicted 20 or more storms was in an August update during 2005’s record-breaking season.

Researchers say sea surface temperatures in the Atlantic Ocean been above average for the past few months.

The peak of hurricane season is between August and October.
