Coronavirus has now killed more than 114,000 people in the United States.
And the CDC is projecting that there will now be 130,000 deaths by 4 July.
According to Doctor Anthony Fauci, at least 19 states are now seeing a surge in coronavirus cases.
As a result the CDC is now issuing a new warning: the greater the number of people involved in an event, the higher the risk of catching the virus.
Many states and cities across America are now pressing pause on reopening.
Florida, South Carolina and Texas posted single day records as the CDC predicts 130,000 virus related deaths by July 4.
Arkansas is now activating National Guard members after seeing a record number of cases in the past 24 hours.
Houston’s NRG Stadium is being prepped as a field hospital just in case.
Despite the uptick in cases, some states are still moving forward.
It’s lights, camera, action in Georgia and California.
Both states announced movie and television projects are kicking back into production.
California’s Orange County rescinded its strict mandate for face coverings.
The chief health officer abruptly resigned on Monday as a result of that decision.
And all of Missouri will be open next week.
Meanwhile anyone attending President Trump’s campaign rally next week in Tulsa, Oklahoma must sign a waiver promising not to sue if they contract the virus.
