On Sunday 55-year-old UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson who tested positive for coronavirus left the hospital.
He will continue his COVID-19 recovery from home.
Johnson was admitted to the hospital a week ago for “persistent” COVID-19 symptoms.
Last Monday he was moved to an intensive care unit after his condition worsened.
The prime minister thanked hospital and healthcare workers who aided him saying “I owe them my life.”
Johnson’s spokesperson said the prime minister won’t be immediately returning to work.
