Yesterday was a grim milestone for the US.
On Monday the US saw its deadliest day yet in the coronavirus fight, with 100 new recorded deaths.
And as of Tuesday morning there are more than 42-thousand confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in the US.
As the virus continues to spread that’s led some US officials to close some businesses, schools and place restrictions on people leaving the house.
Additional states including Hawaii, Indiana, and West Virginia have joined the more than dozen other states that already have stay-at-home orders.
According to John Hopkins University they are more than 381-thousand cases of novel coronavirus worldwide.
The World Health Organization says the pandemic isn’t showing signs of slowing down.
