But in addition to all these precautions there is one crucial item missing, something we all touch over and over again every day: our phones.
There are many people who can’t live without their smart phones.
They are in our hands and in our faces on average about 300 times a day.
Smart phones can be hotbeds of bacteria, basically a petri dish of germs in our pockets.
So how should we be cleaning our phones without damaging them?
Apple recently updated their cleaning guidance saying you can wipe your phone down with either disinfected wipes or 70% isopropyl alcohol.
Other phone manufacturers recommend a mixture of hand soap and water using a soft microfiber cloth.
Most important avoid getting moisture into any sort of open port on your phone like a charging port or the headphone jack.
