As a today (Tuesday) six people have died from the coronavirus in the U.S.
And there are at least 100 cases of the virus in the U.S.
The majority of cases are in California and Washington.
Six people have died in Washington state.
Visitations have been cut off at the Life Care Center nursing home near Seattle, after four residents infected with the coronavirus died.
The facility has 108 residents and another hundred 180 staff members.
At least 50 of them have shown signs of possible infection.
The outbreak is an urgent reminder that America’s elder care facilities are at risk for coronavirus infections because of the dual threat of age and close living conditions.
As the case count explodes around the world, the Trump administration is weighing new travel restrictions.
Vice President Mike Penn made a statement saying people should not travel to certain sections of Italy or South Korea.
