The number of deaths from the Wuhan coronavirus has risen to more than 1,000 with all but two of those deaths in mainland, China.
On Monday (Yesterday) 108 people in mainland China died in a single day, making it this biggest single-day death toll yet.
Meanwhile, today marks the end of the quarantine period for the first group of American evacuees from Wuhan.
Since late January the group has been staying at California’s March Air Reserve Base.
No signs of the coronavirus were detected among the group.
In Japan 3,000 passengers are still under strict quarantine on the Diamond Princess cruise ship.
So far, there are 135 confirmed cases of the virus on board with 24 of those being Americans.
The World Health Organization has arrived in China to help control the epidemic and hopefully usher in a larger international team soon.
