We have an update to a story we brought you earlier this week.
The hunt for four dangerous teen fugitives that escaped from a juvenile detention center in Nashville, Tennessee is over.
They escaped last week from the front door of the facility after being left unsupervised.
Three of the fugitives were captured quickly.
But 17-year-old Brandon Caruthers managed to stay on the run for eight days until authorities received a crime stoppers tip leading to his location in an apartment in Antioch, Tennessee.
Due to the level of danger Caruthers posed to the public and police, a special weapons and tactics team was sent into the apartment complex to capture him.
Authorities say Caruthers had an AR-15 assault rifle “loaded and ready to go” when he was apprehended.
A total of six people have now been arrested in connection with helping the four teens escape including family members and two detention center employees.
Authorities say more arrests could be made at a later date.
