Breakstone’s Cottage Cheese recalled (ASL – 11.20.19)

Thousands of cases of cottage cheese have been recalled because they may be contaminated with metal and plastic pieces.

The recall affects Breakstone’s two-percent low-fat large curd cottage cheese, as well as their small and large curd four-percent cottage cheese.

The company says it has received six complaints from consumers, but no reports of anyone being injured.

However, Kraft Heinz says metal or plastic pieces can cause injury to the mouth, teeth, throat and stomach.

Don’t eat the products and return them for a refund.
