4 dead in police attack in Paris (ASL – 10.4.19)

Transcript

On Thursday, four people were killed in a knife attack at the Paris police headquarters.

According to officials, three policemen and one female police administrative employee were killed by a staff member.

The staff member is a 45-year-old man who had been an employee since 2003 at the police station.

The attacker was shot dead by police.

Authorities don’t have a motive yet.

A lockdown has since been lifted in the area of the attack, and French officials say victims will be formally honored soon.
