Yesterday we told you about the largest immigration raid in US history.
680 workers were arrested in raids targeting illegal migrants at seven different food processing plants in Mississippi.
Many children returned from the first day of school to find empty homes.
The children were rounded up and taken to a makeshift shelter.
Now according to regional ICE communications, over 300 people detained yesterday have been released and reunited with their children.
About thirty workers were immediately release for humanitarian reasons.
Many were pregnant women or nursing mothers.
It’s not clear yet what will happen to the 377 workers still being held in ICE custody.
