Aretha Franklin is in hospice care at her home, according to sources close to her.

Reports say she is very ill.

According to a spokesperson, she’s surrounded by her family.

There have been rumors of the singer’s failing health for years after she appeared frail and recent photos.

But she has kept her health struggles private.

In February 2017 Franklin announced that she would stop touring, but she continued to book concerts.

In 2010 she was forced to cancel performances due to fractured ribs and abdominal pain.
