Nascar CEO arrested for DWI, Oxycodone possession (ASL – 8.6.18)

The CEO of NASCAR Brian France was arrested Sunday in New York. France is charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated and possession of a controlled substance. Police say France was pulled over after failing to stop at a stop sign. During the stop, offices determined France was in an intoxicated condition. He was released Monday morning. In a statement, NASCAR said it is aware of the incident and in the process of gathering information.
