Several countries lifting restrictions, UK Prime Minister returns to work

As several states in the US have begun lifting stay-at-home restrictions, some countries are beginning to open up as well.

Switzerland will allow some businesses like hairdressers and DIY stores to reopen Monday.

New Zealand has opened schools and eased restrictions on recreational activities.

Italy, which has been one of the countries hardest hit by the coronavirus, will begin lifting measures this week.

In Wuhan, China, the original epicenter of the outbreak, all hospitalized COVID-19 patients have reportedly been discharged.

Meanwhile in the UK, officials say the country is not yet ready to lift its lockdown measures and will work on increasing its coronavirus testing capacity.

UK’s Prime Minister Boris Johnson returns to work today after battling COVID-19.

Johnson was released from the hospital on Easter Sunday and has been recovering at home.
