— Federal prosecutors say anyone involved in the Capitol riot will face charges. They say that includes President Trump.

— Two more of Trump’s Cabinet members have stepped down as a result of Wednesday’s riot. The Capitol police chief has stepped down too.

— Health officials continue to research whether the two current vaccines can stop the two new strains of the coronavirus.
