If you are a fan of singer, songwriter, entrepreneur and Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss and you are a Georgia State University law student, you might get a chat with her this semester.
Burruss is the subject of Professor Mo Ivory’s entertainment law class.
The class started in 2018 and looks at the legal life of celebrities.
The legal life of rapper and actor Ludacris was offered first.
Now students will study the business contracts Burruss has had over the years.
Her impressive business empire includes restaurants, a clothing boutique, face and body care products and even a line of adult toys.
The goal of the class is to prepare students for Georgia’s growing entertainment industry.
In a statement Burruss said she is honored to be chosen.
