For the past few months, couples across the world have seen their hope for dreamy summer wedding turn into a nightmare.
According to matrimonial website “The Knot,” there were supposed to be roughly 500,000 weddings over the course of the past three months.
But due to coronavirus pandemic those ceremonies, receptions and honeymoons have been canceled or postponed.
However some couples are determined to walk down that aisle.
Many have condensed their wedding into a “mini-mony” where guest lists are trimmed down from hundreds of people down to small, private gatherings with less than 25 people in attendance.
Receptions are being reschedule for later dates.
Other couples have turned their day of love into a virtual celebration, inviting their family and loved ones to watch them tie the knot virtually.
