Grab your running shoes, Wednesday is National Running Day!
Whether you’re an avid runner or a wanna-be runner, today is the day to celebrate the love of a good run.
However officials are encouraging runners not run in groups this year with the coronavirus still being very much a threat.
Participants are encouraged to join in on a game of virtual tag with the #Run1Tag1 challenge, which is designed to inspire others to participate by tagging them on social media.
Here are a few tips on how you can have a safe run.
First tell someone where you’re going and when you’ll be back.
Second make sure you are six feet apart from others in all directions.
Third plan your running route ahead of time.
Lastly wash your hands when you get home.
