On Wednesday members of conservative groups in Michigan jammed the streets of the state’s capital in protest over coronavirus restrictions.
The protests were in response to Michigan’s governor extending state orders to the end of the month and adding more restrictions.
Some protesters were in cars but people also crowded the Capitol grounds disregarding social distancing recommendations.
Some right-wing media personalities are encouraging Americans to protest stay-at-home orders.
They argue it suffocates Americans’ personal rights and it is time to start reopening the economy.
But Americans will probably have to do restrictions for a while longer.
State health experts say there is no immediate relief in sight for lockdown measures.
President Trump’s former communication advisor Jason Miller said in response to the media personalities that “we can’t be careless” in how we go about reopening the country.
