Wednesday is April Fools’ Day but understandably not many people are in a joking mood in the mist of the coronavirus era.
So since it probably isn’t wise to crack jokes on people today, there is something else you can do: celebrate National Walking Day!
The American Heart Association initiated the day to get people moving.
With much of the country under guidelines to stay home, it is a good time to get out and go for a walk.
Just make sure you keep your distance from others.
Walking is one of the best and simplest exercises you can do and all ages can take part.
Walking just 30 minutes per day can have a big impact on heart health.
While many might need to get outside for some fresh air, hitting the treadmill works too if you have one at home.
