People entering Florida via the interstate will be screened first.
It’s part of the governor of Florida’s order to limit the spread of coronavirus.
The Florida Department of Transportation says motorists entering Florida will be directed to highway checkpoints by law-enforcement officers.
There they will allow travelers to either proceed back to the interstate or pull aside for further screening.
People will be required to complete a form including each traveler’s contact information and trip details.
Florida’s governor says people on I-10 and I-95 coming from Louisiana, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut will be required to isolate for a period of 14 days.
