Millions of Americans are now adjusting to working from home but there are ways to make this transition easier.
Here are a few tech tips to help with the transition.
The first tip is to stay in touch with co-workers.
There are a number of web-conferencing apps that will allow you to do this and many are easy and free to set up.
A few suggestions are Google Hangouts, Zoom Basic, Skype for Business Basic and Cisco WebEx Personal.
If you can’t do a web conference, chat apps can help you stay in touch with co-workers.
Is your Internet painfully slow?
You may want to look into a new router to speed things up a bit.
And if you’re having trouble concentrating, try eliminating app distractions.
Apple’s Screen Time let you set daily limits on certain apps on your iPhone.
Another way to avoid the distraction is to delete the apps that are not essential to you to your work.
Or simply put your phone on airplane mode to help you resist playing on it.
