South Carolina holds the latest presidential primary before super Tuesday.
And the Palmetto State’s vote will likely be a major deciding factor in the future of some candidates campaigns, with a few possibly ending.
Former Vice President Joe Biden calls South Carolina his “firewall.”
In reality it’s his fourth quarter and he needs a Hail Mary.
And South Carolina looks favorable for Biden.
He got an endorsement from Representative James Clyburn this week and in a new Monmouth University poll, Biden is ahead of national front runner Senator Bernie Sanders.
South Carolina is basically do or die for Democratic presidential hopefuls like Elizabeth Warren, Senator Amy Kobluchar, businessman Tom Steyer and former mayor Pete Buttigieg.
Another former mayor Mike Bloomberg isn’t on the ballot in South Carolina, focusing instead of later contests.
Meanwhile President Trump is expected to get all the GOP delegates from South Carolina because the Republicans canceled their primary in the state.
