Today (Friday) the Senate will resume in the impeachment trial of President Trump at 1 p.m. Eastern time.
The Senate is expected to hold four hours of debate and then vote on whether they should seek witnesses and documents.
The vote is expected to take place between 5 to 6 p.m. Eastern time.
Democrats need at least four Republican senators to side with them in order to have witnesses and documents in the trial.
So far two Republican senators have announced their positions to side with the vote.
But if there are not enough votes, which seems likely, the impeachment trial of the president could possibly end today.
