Twinkies are the country’s oldest and most recognizable snacks.
Now the ninety-year-old golden cream filled sponge cake will soon hit shelves in the form of a breakfast cereal.
Post serial partnered with Hostess to create “Twinkies Cereal,” smaller, bite-size pieces to be enjoyed in a bowl of milk.
The new cereal comes more than six years after a Twinkies shortage gripped the country.
Post officials say they conducted multiple taste tests to nail down the sweet flavor of Twinkies.
It will be available nationwide starting in late December.
Hmmm…Twinkies cereal?
What do you think, thumbs-up or thumbs down?
For me personally…well…believe it or not I had never eaten a Twinkie before today.
My boss was shocked and bought me one.
I tasted it and it was good.
But I don’t really have a sweet tooth so eating Twinkies as cereal…Yuck!
