I am here at Fright Fest Food Scare Zone.
It’s really cool. It’s under a tunnel.
During the day when it’s hot, you can sit under here and get cool.
But when the sun goes down around 6 o’clock, sewage aliens will hide and then jump out and scare people.
Now here’s a quick look at some more news stories happening today.
If you are a vaper, listen up!
The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers to stop using THC vaping products.
Health officials are now reporting that the number of vaping related deaths in the U-S just hit 21.
Michigan and Pennsylvania both reported deaths from lung disease that could be tied to vaping on Friday.
It’s the first possible vaping-related deaths in both states.
Health officials there are warning residents to immediately stop vaping any illegally purchased products and exercise caution with legal e-cigarettes.
It is not known what is making people sick or if it is limited to illegal products.
The Centers for Disease Control is reporting at least 1,080 probable cases of lung injury associated with e-cigarettes.
Prince Harry is suing the owners of U-K tabloid newspapers ‘The Sun’ and ‘The Daily Mirror’ for allegedly hacking his phone.
This comes just days after the news that the Duchess of Sussex Meghan Markle was suing ‘The Mail on Sunday’ for allegedly publishing a private letter to her father.
A Buckingham palace spokesperson confirmed the claims have been filed in court “regarding the illegal interception of voicemail messages.”
Prince Harry had said British tabloids have been “bullying” his wife since their marriage and he’s comparing it to his mother Princess Diana’s treatment by the media.
Both newspapers confirm they have received a claim and they are aware of the legal proceedings but both papers declined to comment on the allegations at this time.
We are right in the middle of Hispanic heritage month.
The former president of Tyler Perry Studios Ozzie Areu is taking action to create more opportunities for Latinos in Hollywood.
The Cuban-American has launched the first-ever Latino-owned and operated film and tv studio in the U.S.
Areu went from being a security guard at Warner Brothers studio to president of Tyler Perry Studios to now CEP of “Areu Brothers Studios.”
Now he is implementing what he learned from his mentor to connect with Latino audiences, which he says has been neglected.
Areu wants to create opportunities for Latinos, women and minorities in entertainment, including actors, crew, producers and writers putting together storylines that break down stereotypes.
And Areu says that just like Perry believed in him, he now wants to open doors for others.
That’s pretty cool!
Jethro Wooddall is next with more stories.
See you then.
