As many of you know, a month ago I made the decision to focus on my health by losing weight.
I stopped drinking sodas and I started drinking more water and walking.
When my leg and foot started hurting, I was stuck and had to figure out what to do.
That’s when I found this picture which reminds me to be patient.
It shows two lines of a silhouette of a man.
On the first line, the silhouettes are getting progressively fatter.
The caption under it reads: “Took you 10 to 20 years to get here” and there’s a big blue arrow pointing to a fat silhouette at the end.
On the second line, the silhouettes are getting progressively thinner and the caption under it reads: “Stop expecting to get here in 30 days! And there’s a big blue arrow pointing to a thin silhouette at the end.
As many of you know, it can be a bit scary putting your personal life and private struggles on display for everyone to see.
Nowadays people use social media like target practice to hurl hurtful words.
But I gotta tell you, I have received nothing but positive feedback from you our loyal Sign1News viewers.
I thank you for that.
In fact, let me share some of your weight loss stories and words of encouragement.
Michelle Mary Schaefer says “It took me about four years I believe to lose 100 pounds. That’s all just focusing on what I’m eating. But of course it wasn’t 100 percent strict on healthy food. I believe in you.”
ZA Hadrion says “Sometimes it’s the small changes that wrought the big differences. Keep it up Jethro and soon you will be able to do more with the strength you are gaining in the process.”
Susan Marietta Jones says “Nothing in life happens overnight. Just got to follow your routine and work really hard to achieve what you desire. You can do it!”
And Priscilla Eberhardt said “Congrats and stay positive and stay on your path, reach your best goal. We love you and I continue to support you Jethro!”
Thank you everyone!
