Hello everyone.
Welcome to Sign1News.

Here your top stories for the day.
We’re learning more about the final moments of the Ride the Ducks amphibious tour boat that sank Thursday near Branson, Missouri.
31 people were on board and 17 people were killed.
Of the 17 people killed, nine members were of the Coleman family from Indiana. Their ages range from 1 to 76 years old.
Tia Coleman says there were life jackets on board, but the passengers never put them on.
Local authorities and investigators say they didn’t know yet if anyone was wearing a life jacket.
The NTSB, state and local authorities are continuing to investigate the incident.
In April, Hilda Hall, a transgender woman, went to get a prescription filled at a CVS in Phoenix, Arizona.
Hall says a CVS pharmacy refused to fill her hormone therapy prescription.
Hall says the pharmacist made her feel embarrassed, loudly asking in front of others why she needed the prescription.
Hall says the pharmacist didn’t give her a reason for refusing to fill it.
Hall tried talking to CVS customer service but nothing happened.
Now, she has filed a complaint with the Arizona State Board of pharmacy.
In a statement CVS says the pharmacist violated policy and no longer works for them.
CVS offered their apologies to Hall.
And said the incident does not reflect their values.
Yesterday the Republican National Committee voted to select Charlotte North Carolina as the site of its 2020 convention.
The city was chosen over Las Vegas, which was also passed over during the selection process for the 2016 Republican National Convention.
Charlotte will host the second major party convention in the past decade after hosting the Democratic National Convention in 2012.
The Democratic Party has not pick the site for its 2020 National Convention, yet.
A Microsoft executive says Russian intelligence operatives tried to hack into the online accounts of campaign staffers in the upcoming midterm elections.
This is the first public acknowledgment of a Russian attack on a 2018 race.
Tom Burt, Microsoft’s Corporate Vice President for customer security and trust, said earlier this year Microsoft detected a fake domain likely used as part of phishing attacks.
Burt did not identify which campaigns were targeted.
He said Microsoft took down the site and prevented the victims from being affected.
Recently the US government has accused Russia of hacking campaign staff emails during the 2016 presidential race.
Movie director James Gunn has been fired from the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise because he joked about pedophilia and sexual assault on Twitter.
Gunn wrote the original tweets years ago.
He tweeted his response Thursday saying early in his career he got attention through provocative material.
But he says he later developed as a person and so has his sense of humor.
Gunn directed the first two Guardian movies that grossed more than $1.6 billion worldwide.
Disney fired Gunn as he was working on a third installment of the Guardian movies.
Filming is set for the fall.
And those are your top stories for today.
