Monday, July 29 is National Lipstick Day.

Fashionistas, beauty bloggers and influencers and cosmetic companies first started celebrating National Lipstick Day about 10 years ago but no one really knows who came up with the idea.

Most people celebrate by buying a new shade of lipstick or sporting an old favorite.

Others leave sexy lipstick lip imprint everywhere.

Oh, and yes, I did say you get free lipstick on Monday.

MAC cosmetics is giving away free full-size lipstick with any $25 purchase on Monday.

Other stores and brands are giving away free lipstick or offering great deals include Urban Decay, Huda Beauty, Anastasia Beverley Hills, Colour Pop, Target and Macy’s.

So go ahead, pucker up and let those lip shine!
