Thursday night Joe Biden officially accepted the Democratic presidential nomination on day four, and the final day, of the Democratic National Convention.
He gave the biggest speech of his political career that focused on his five decades of public service and American unity.
Biden took aim at President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic and his foreign policy efforts.
In accepting his party’s presidential nomination, Biden argued he can best lead the nation through the challenges of the present.
Former presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg, Senator Tammy Duckworth and Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms also delivered addresses.
The Republican National Convention is scheduled to begin next Monday.
