The Department of Justice is warning people with disabilities about fake flyers on the Internet regarding facemasks.
Some cards have been circulating online that allegedly exempt disabled Americans from ordinances that require face coverings.
Many of these cards cite the Americans With Disabilities Act and containe the Department of Justice seal.
The DOJ says the postings were not issued by their Department and are not endorsed by the Department.
Authorities say all official information issued on Covid 19 and disabled Americans is available on ADA.gov.
Anything else should be considered fraudulent.
Again if you receive a flyer or card saying you don’t have to wear a mask because it violates your ADA rights, it is fake.
