That is CNN reporter Omar Jimenez being arrested by Minnesota State patrol on live TV Friday morning.
Jimenez was reporting from the scene of protests in Minneapolis over the death of George Floyd when he was taken into police custody.
During the live report, Jimenez fully cooperated with authorities and offered to move if he was standing in the wrong area.
Despite having press credentials, Jimenez, his producer and photographer were all detained.
Jimenez could be heard repeatedly asking why he was being detained but authorities offered no comments.
Critics quickly pointed out that Jimenez is a man of color being arrested while his white counterpart, CNN correspondent Josh Campbell, who was reporting live from a block away, was not arrested.
Jimenez and his crew were detained for an hour before being released.
Jimenez was back on air reporting about the incident immediately afterwards.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz apologized to CNN president Jeff Zucker Friday morning.
Governor Walz called the arrests totally inadvertent and unacceptable, adding he takes full responsibility for the incident.
