On Wednesday tornadoes are possible in Tornado Alley, a part of Central US known for severe storms.
Tornado Alley spans from Texas to the Dakotas and typically sees a large number of tornadoes each year.
The storm prediction center has placed an “enhanced” risk level of 3 out of 5 for tornadoes in the Texas Panhandle, Oklahoma and southern Kansas in the afternoon.
The main threats will also be very large hail and strong winds.
Along with the severe weather threat, heavy rain is expected to impact Texas to Michigan which could trigger flash flooding.
Tornadoes in the Tornado Alley typically occur in the region in the late spring or fall and can be seen for miles.
