Update: NASCAR driver leaves hospital after fiery crash

On Wednesday NASCAR driver Ryan Newman was released from the hospital, just two days after a fiery wreck at the Daytona 500.
On Monday, Noonan’s car spun out and crashed just before he crossed the Daytona 500 finish line.
The car caught fire, and rescue crews had to cut the roof to get Newman out.
He was rushed to the hospital in serious condition.
On Wednesday his wife this video as he walked out from the hospital, holding the hands of his two daughters.
Early in the day, Roush Fenway Racing tweeted about his progress saying Newman was joking around staff, friends and family and spending time with his two daughters.
There is currently no timetable for Newman’s return to NASCAR and Fenway says it’s focused on supporting Ryan and his family as he recovers.
