Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!
Valentine’s Day is the traditional holiday of love.
And while Valentine’s Day is a celebratory holiday for some, for others this holiday is not so easy.
Whether you just went through a break up or are just feeling the holiday blues, here are a few things singles can do to still spread the love.
First, try spreading love in your community.
Whether you love children or animals, find somewhere in your community where you can give back.
If you need help finding an organization to partner with, go to this link here on the screen.
Second, spread the love to your friends.
Don’t forget that your friends are *other* significant others.
If you and your friends are single, go out for a night on the town.
Third, spread the love to nature.
According to the Environmental Protection Agency, we spend about 90 percent of our time indoors.
As a result, it’s a good time to go hiking, canoeing, gardening, picnicking or tree planting.
Of course, that’s if the weather in your area is up for it.
And lastly, don’t forget to spread the love to yourself!
Who said you need a significant other to go get a massage or see nice movie?
Treat yourself today!
Even that means buying yourself some flowers or a gift.
And if you decide to go out alone, don’t worry about what others think.
Life is too short.
For those of you who are in a relationship, don’t forget to show your significant other some love today as well!
