Starbucks fires employee who wrote ‘PIG’ on cop’s cup (ASL – 12.1.19)

According to a statement released by Starbucks, the employee who gave an Oklahoma police officer cups of coffee with the word “pig” printed on the label has been fired.
The officer went to the Starbucks in Glenpool on Thankgiving day to pick up five drinks.
A customer shared the picture on Facebook.
Starbucks officially called the incident absolutely unacceptable and said it is “deeply sorry to the law enforcement officer who experienced this.”
Starbucks is also working with police to host a “Coffee with a Cop” event to discuss the critical role dispatchers and police officers play in keeping the community safe.
