Scientists ‘monster’ black hole beyond belief (ASL – 11.29.19)

A “monster blackhole” is discovered by scientists.

But they say it’s so big that it shouldn’t actually exist.

It’s called a “stellar blackhole” which is the kind that forms following the death or explosion of a massive star.

Prior to this discovery, researchers thought the size limit of a black hole was less than twenty times the mass of the sun.

But this blackhole, known as “LB-1” appears to debunk that theory.

According to the Chinese Academy of Sciences, its mass is seventy times larger than the sun!

Scientists are now scratching their heads at how LB-1 got so huge.

The findings are published in Wednesday’s edition of the journal “Nature.”
