Congress is gearing-up for the public impeachment inquiry of President Trump.
On Wednesday, televised public hearings will begin.
At issue is a whistleblower complaint alleging Trump tried to pressure Ukraine into investigating former Vice President and presidential candidate Joe Biden and his son.
Diplomats have testified about the July phone call and whether Trump intended to use military aid for the country as leverage for an investigation.
House Democrats submitted a list of witnesses to testify on the matter, including:
Bill Taylor, a former ambassador and top U.S. diplomat in Ukraine
George Kent, a deputy assistant secretary of state
And Marie Yovanovitch, a former U.S. ambassador to Ukraine
Republican Senator Lindsey Graham is calling the inquiry “invalid” unless the anonymous whistleblower comes forward.
House Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff is rejecting that request, saying the whistleblower will not be testifying.
President Trump has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing.
After this week, lawmakers expect at least one more week of public hearings.
