Earlier this month we reported on Johnson and Johnson voluntarily recalling some of its baby powder.
The recall was in response to the FDA discovering low levels of asbestos in one baby powder bottle.
On Tuesday Johnson and Johnson said that it did not find asbestos after multiple tests.
Johnson and Johnson said third-party labs tested the same bottle the FDA tested and samples from the recalled bottles.
There’s no response from the FDA yet.
But the FDA said earlier that it stood by its testing.
For years there has been controversy as to whether there is a link between asbestos in talc and cancer.
The company has lost several multi-million dollar court cases in cancer lawsuits.
