Judge rules House Dems can see full Mueller materials (ASL – 10.26.19)

On Friday a federal judge handed the White House a big blow and gave House Democrats leverage in their impeachment probe of President Trump.

He ordered the Justice Department to release grand jury information redacted from Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

The House Judiciary Committee had gone to court seeking information in the Mueller report that was redacted because it came from secret grand jury proceedings.

The Trump Administration has claimed the House is not conducting a valid impeachment inquiry since there’s been no formal vote to authorize it.

A Justice Department spokesperson said the DOJ is reviewing the decision.
