Three major storms are bearing down in the Gulf and the Atlantic Ocean.
The threatening storms include Tropical Storm Imelda, Jerry and Hurricane Humberto.
In the Gulf, Tropical Storm Imelda is threatening flash flood warnings in Texas.
Forecasters say that the Houston area could see the most rainfall from one storm since Hurricane Harvey in 2017.
Imelda has weakened into a tropical depression since making landfall Tuesday afternoon.
But officials want Houston area residents to still be on alert.
Officials say they are expecting street flooding and encourage people to stay home if they do not need to be out in the street.
The storm isn’t expected to let up for at least a couple of days.
As Imelda moves inland, parts of eastern Texas and Louisiana are also expected to feel the effect.
In the Atlantic, Hurricane Humberto strengthened to a Category 3 storm.
The hurricane is expected to reach Bermuda Wednesday night and continue into early Thursday morning.
And a new threat is also forming in the Atlantic.
Tropical Storm Jerry is heading toward the Leeward Islands in the Caribbean Sea.
The storm achieved maximum sustained winds of 45 miles per hour Wednesday morning.
And it is now moving at 13 miles per hour.
It is expected to become a hurricane by the weekend.
It is the tenth named storm of this year’s hurricane season.
