After months behind bars on assault charges, New York rapper “A$AP Rocky” and two of his friends have been released from prison in Sweden.
Rocky has pled not guilty to the charges.
Rocky’s case gained international spotlight after President Trump got involved.
He put pressure on Sweden for the rapper’s release.
He even got the White House’s lead hostage negotiators involved and warned there will be negative consequences if the case isn’t resolved quickly.
The rapper left Sweden for the US on a private jet.
He took to Instagram thanking his friends and fans for their support.
Trump celebrated the rapper’s release by tweeting “It was Rocky week, get home ASAP A$AP!”
