On Wednesday a teaser trailer for “A Quiet Place 2” was released.
In 2018, part one of the hit horror movie “A Quiet Place” was released.
And to make it even better it starred Deaf actress Millicent Simmonds who will be returning in part two of the film.
Simmons plays the Deaf daughter in the film.
Actor John Krasinski played the hearing father in part one.
Krasinski said when casting for the role of the daughter he pushed for a Deaf actress because he wanted the role to be authentic.
Krasinski wrote and directed the film as well.
“A Quiet Place” is a horror film about a family forced to live in silence while hiding from monsters who have extra-sensitive hearing.
And in part two, the 30-second teaser shows the remaining survivors of the last film all together.
The sequel tells the story of the mother, featuring actress Emily Blunt, leading the family after the death of the father.
According to the studio filmmakers, the family will venture outside only to realize that the creatures in the original film are not their only threat.
A full trailer for “A Quiet Place 2” comes out on New Year’s Day.
The movie is expected to hit theaters on March 20, 2020.
