51 massive infernos burning through 14 states (ASL – 8.24.19)

At least 51 large wildfires are raging in at least fourteen states across America, forcing people from their homes and leaving behind a trail of destruction.

In Northern California, crews are battling a wildfire dubbed the “Mountain Fire” that has scorched through several homes and buildings.

California is just one of at least fourteen states dealing with large wildfires.

In Alaska an extreme drought has mixed with massive fires burning through the state, charring through neighborhoods and turning once scenic Alaskan landscapes into something that looks post-apocalyptic.

Many people have been left homeless.
